Chimax.uk are UK based manufacturers of electronic chime control units (aka chime boxes) with over 40 years experience in the business. Chime control units are available for ice cream vans, jiffy trucks, snack vans, and any other type of mobile hot or cold food vendor, throughout the UK and beyond.
Available with up to eight tunes of your choice from a massive selection in various styles. Will you go for Greensleeves, ‘O Sole Mio, Popeye the Sailor Man or Teddy Bear’s Picnic? Maybe you need chimes for special occasions like Happy Birthday, Congratulations or the Wedding March? On these pages you will find short soundbites of each tune, to give you an idea of what they sound like. For a full list of available tunes, scan the QR code, or click here.
Our most popular models combine your choice of tunes with a built-in amplifier with just four wires to connect (two to 12V power, two to loudspeaker). They can be operated using the controls on the unit, or turned on/off from an existing switch installed in your van.
We manufacture a multi-tune box and a modern version of the original Harvin C1 wind-up chime boxes with genuine Reuge/Romance movement, both of which plug directly into your existing ‘Harvin Pied Piper’ A1-N/A2-N amplifier1 (pictured).
We also sell loudspeaker drive head units and a range of spare parts and accessories, all available from our ebay store. If you don’t see what you need, please get in touch.
Chimax.uk chime control units are built to last. Manufactured from high-grade die-cast aluminium, in ‘raw’ silver/grey aluminium or powder coated black finish, and use only the best electronic components.
